I am an academic/practitioner with a background in community development. I am the Course Coordinator of the Bachelor of Social Work and a Fellow of the Cairns Institute at James Cook University, Australia. I bring together my background in business and in community development to my work in Social Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprise. I am currently the Founding Chair of SENT [Social Enterprise Network for the Tropics], a network based in Cairns. I has worked for over thirty-five years in Australia and overseas in universities, NGOs and the private sector, and have held senior leading roles in research and sector development.
