Homebase is an innovation platform for start ups and scale ups who want to create positive impact, predominately focused on the Logan area, and communities who don’t often have easy access to these programs.
Homebase offers three tiers of development support:
1. Free workshops, events and learning opportunities for anyone interested in making lasting change in themselves, their community or the world.
2. Impact Boom’s 20-week Elevate+ program for early-stage ideas and startups who want to make a positive impact on people, place or planet.
3. 3-6 month coaching opportunities for high-potential impact organisations with market traction and specific development goals led by Innovation Architects.
Here are some key upcoming dates. As with most things, we want them to benefit Logan communities often locked out of other opportunities, but they’re also open to anyone interested who can get along to the Logan venues:
Community education and networking (free events)
3 and 9 June: Tuning up your business model
8 June: Logan City Stories: Businesses Doing Good – Street Culture
17 and 23 June: Refining the ‘BBQ Story’ for your idea
Applications for Elevate+ will open 23 May and close 25 June for passionate and driven individuals who have an idea for a business or community project that also creates positive impact for their communities or the world at large. Please share this opportunity with the groups of people who don’t often access mainstream business incubators or support like migrants and other minority groups.
