Bama is widely recognised as the leading Indigenous owned business and Indigenous employer across in civil engineering, construction, facilities and garden maintenance throughout North Queensland. For nearly 10 years, Bama has been constructing roads and bridges, including sealing the Peninsula Developmental Road in Cape York, building and renovating residential homes and providing landscape and building maintenance services from Townsville to the tip of Cape York and Torres Strait. We have a strong public sector customer base across all levels of Government – local, State and Federal. We have also developed long term partnerships with large-scale national contractors as their preferred deliver partner. As a 100% Indigenous owned organisation, we employ long term unemployed Indigenous men and women from disadvantaged backgrounds and provide them with an opportunity to develop a long and sustainable career with ongoing training in the civil and construction industry.
