Description:

Our mission is to directly improve the lives of members of the community by providing a welcoming environment that encompasses community as the centre focus.

A place to learn about meaningful work; how to be a better member of society by attending the education workshops provided to upskill and increase awareness around the sustainable goals, how to crate successful businesses all whilst minimizing use of resources and continuously making changes to become the most eco conscious collective space on the Gold Coast

We aim to maximize the potential of our community members whilst delivering sustainable financial profit to fund this mission. It was structured in such an affordable way that we not only attract the general conscious pubic but also students. The statement by Karma Community Hub places the community member at the centre of everything it does. In this way, it brings out the caring and philanthropic nature of the business together with the desire to improve the lives of others. The mission statement has the following major   points: -

CONNECTION:

We often run campaigns focusing on introverts and disadvantaged to attend and use the space with strategies in place to ensure they feel welcomed and comfortable to use the facility. We also encourage them to attend regular no cost networking events where again strategies are put in place to ensure the mental wellbeing of those attending is front of mind understanding that it can sometimes be daunting using a community space. On top of this we have and will run further community events that encourage more people to get to know their neighbours and colleagues on a level that is often neglected these days and we believe that is through conversation face to face.

COMMUNITY:

At Karma Collab Hub, the focus is about touching the lives of those in our community and those of the vulnerable or the disadvantaged are not discarded from this mission hence we support two organisations with the proceeds from merchandise sold at the hub. We acknowledge the importance of a ‘safe space’ when it comes to making life easier for those following their passion in the creative arts and in the early stages of business with the vast majority of those utilising the space being a solo artist or start-up entrepreneur / social entrepreneur. By doing this, the establishment contributes in its own way towards the growth of the community and the creative / start up scene that we believe is a sole focus of the Gold Coast in this specific time. In fact, its act of care is akin to giving the members of our community an opportunity to grown in an inspiring environment that not only encourages success but also educates on mindful business practise and this translates to better societies and a bench mark for other creative collaborative spaces on the Gold Coast.

COLLABORATION

By providing a social platform for those who visit the space where they can ask for help, tips, tricks we have successful seem many members come together and co-creative “magic” bringing together people form diverse backgrounds.

The mission and vision statements of Karma Collab hub are a reflection of the selfless nature that this corporation has demonstrated in the line of its business since opening almost 2 years ago with a growing audience of change makers on the Gold Coast and afar.
