Did you know there are more than 482,000 small business in Queensland that contribute around $117 billion to our economy?

Queensland Small Business Month is about recognising their contributions and supporting a vibrant and growing small business sector, through networking, workshops and information sharing opportunities. To us at the Queensland Social Enterprise Council (QSEC), there is no better business than social enterprise and many social enterprise’s are small businesses too.

Queensland is home to more than 482,000 small businesses — 97 per cent of all businesses — that contribute around $117 billion to the state economy each year.
