The Redlands region, with its blend of coastal and suburban communities, provides a close-knit, locally oriented environment for social enterprises. Its population of 170,225 (ABS ERP 2024) is a mix including families, retirees, and coastal communities who can benefit from enterprises focused on social services, local employment, environmental stewardship, and community wellbeing.
Queensland Social Enterprise Council (QSEC) acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate, particularly the Yuggera and Turrbul people, as our staff live and work in Meanjin. QSEC recognises their continuing sovereignty and connection to land and water, and pays respect to elders past and present.
