FTS delivers an alternative approach and actively engages young people who do not traditionally access mainstream support, soon to age out of the youth justice and education systems, on the cusp of adulthood and a short step away from adult incarceration.
FTS provide a “safe place to land” through a unique support space in Ipswich’s centre where the doors are always open, welcoming and non-judgemental no matter what challenges youth are facing.
FTS deliver a range of initiatives, co-designed by youth, that equip young people with an arsenal of skills and strategies to resist toxic thinking and improve well-being, including Support Centre; home away from home and a distraction from crime with a range of activities including pool table, TV, aquariums, reptiles, fitness equipment, art therapy, Peer Mentoring; Recreational Fishing; Cultural Introduction and a Social Enterprise offering.
