We believe that, using the existing system, in a compliant way, the People Purpose Place process presents an opportunity to achieve a greater range of housing solutions, including;
- for people who are currently excluded, to achieve that connection that we call a home;
- for DV victims to have a safe, secure, stable alternative to remaining in the household of abuse;
- for safe, secure, stable accommodation for older women who are the fastest growing group to experience homelessness in Australia;
for us, as a community to achieve the recommendation of the Royal Commission into Aged Care in Australia, for small house scale solutions to support the elderly, as an alternative to institutionalised care;
- for investors to invest in a socially conscious produce and achieve an above market yield from their existing housing investments.
