Chrysaor Studios
Chrysaor Studios is Australia's first Social Traders certified social enterprise film studio, operating a 1,900m² production facility at Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast. Founded by filmmaker and journalist Christopher Amos, we provide professional soundstage hire, virtual production access (via on-site partner Animax Studios), and full facility services to the screen production industry. Our trading profits fund Chrysaor Futures, an industry placement program for underrepresented talent, and our Materials Salvaging Initiative, which diverts set materials from landfill into community reuse.

Our Work
Our core offering is the Kevin Weldon AO Soundstage (400m², 7m ceiling, semi-trailer loading), supported by production offices, green rooms, wardrobe and makeup facilities, secure parking, and full crew amenities. Through our on-site partner Animax Studios, clients can also access a permanent 49.5m² Unilumin URMIII LED Volume running Unreal Engine 5 for virtual production work.
