Stationery Aid Ltd
Stationery Aid is a charity founded in 2020 by Alison and Jan Schutt. After recognising the large amount of perfectly usable school stationery being discarded, while many students were starting the school year without essential supplies, they created Stationery Aid to bridge that gap.
Our mission is to relieve poverty and hardship by providing essential school stationery supplies to students and families who are experiencing hardship and financial distress.
We also aim to:
Support disadvantaged students, families, schools and communities with donated supplies
Create volunteering and training opportunities for vulnerable groups
Reduce stationery waste by promoting reuse and responsible recycling

Our Work
Today, Stationery Aid collects, sorts, cleans, renews and redistributes excess and gently used school resources across Queensland. These materials are used to create complete, personalised school booklists for vulnerable and disadvantaged students so they can begin the school year with confidence. Surplus supplies are also donated to communities in the Pacific Islands. Our mission is simple: to create positive change for people, the planet and education.
