This program aims to provide a suite of initiatives to grow and scale Queensland innovation businesses founded by women. Its objective is to support female founders at different stages of their startup journey.
Department of Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation in partnership with Advance Queensland are working with 11 leading education and industry organisations to provide subsidized programs, support and expertise for female founders:
1. Early stage programs
- TekWomen Qld: An integrated program for female founders to build and grow agtech startups.
- Knoei launchpad: A six month program to help progress startup ideas towards commercialisation through mentorship, training and networking including the opportunity to complete a Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business.
- Accelerating NQ female founders program: Provides access to the Smart Business Accelerator, mentorship, networking and expert advice to develop, grow and scale businesses
- StartUp onramp female founders program: Connects early-stage female founders with experienced mentors, online learning and a pre-accelerator for business growth.
- Anyone can build – Pre-accelerator program: A targeted early-stage startup program for female entrepreneurs.
