The Impact Revenue Investments program is an innovative Queensland Government initiative that supports social enterprises to create meaningful social change.

As a foundational measure under the Social Entrepreneurs Fund, the program offers revenue-based incentives that help eligible organisations scale, grow sustainably and increase their social impact.

Specifically, the program provides funding of up to $200,000 over two years, including:

  • First, a $30,000 upfront payment in year one

  • Then, additional payments linked to trading revenue growth:

    • In Year One: $4 for every $10 of growth in year one, capped at $100,000 (including the upfront payment)

    • In Year Two: $2 for every $10 of growth in year two, capped at $100,000

Importantly, organisations can use the funding flexibly to support operational or capital expenses, depending on their business needs and growth priorities.

In addition to the funding, program also includes structured peer-to-peer learning opportunities. These sessions connect participating organisations, support shared learning, and help enterprises build the capability needed to succeed.

Through this approach, the Queensland Government invests directly in social enterprises and rewards revenue growth that delivers measurable outcomes. As a result, the program should strengthen business sustainability and expand impact across areas such as jobs, health and housing.

The Impact Revenue Investments program forms part of the broader Social Enterprise and Impact Investing Roadmap. Together, these initiatives provide flexible funding, capability building and ecosystem support to help purpose-driven businesses grow and deliver lasting impact across Queensland.
