CQUniversity is a young university but in 25 years has been able to achieve outstanding things and is now emerging as one of Australia’s truly great universities. As one of Australia’s largest regional universities, CQUniversity has the most extensive geographical footprint of any university in the country with more than 20 sites across mainland Australia including 11 full campuses.
As Australia's only Ashoka U Changemaker Campus, CQUniversity focuses on equipping students, staff and communities with the skills needed to address entrenched social and environmental issues, thereby driving transformation and working for a better collective future. The University has established a Social Innovation Mindset as a core Graduate Attribute for its graduating students.
CQUniversity is also proud to have the highest ratio of students from low socio-economic, mature age, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, and first-in-family backgrounds. The University defines itself by who it embraces rather than who it excludes, and because of this is widely recognised as Australia's most inclusive university.
