Membership Types
There are three ways to get involved
Industry
A social enterprise is a business that puts people and planet first.
At its core, it is a business that has a social and/or environmental mission embedded in its DNA; derives the majority of its revenue through trade rather than through grants, donations or gifts, and; reinvests a substantial portion of its resources and efforts back into its impact model. In doing so, social enterprises balance financial sustainability with measurable outcomes for people, place and planet.
Associate
Associate members include organisations and individuals committed to social impact
Many are often businesses on the journey of becoming a social enterprise or a business, foundation, individual, government or industry body that supports or is involved in the social impact sector and wants to stay updated and included in sector discussions and events. Associate members can also include charities, not-for-profits and philanthropic foundations that do not trade goods or services but exist to make the world a better place.
Youth
A Youth Member is a social entrepreneur, social enterprise, associate or sole trader with a founder(s) under the age of 21 years.
Youth members receive the same membership benefits as the equivalent tier of social enterprise or associate membership. Youth Social Enterprise Members also receive tailored support including mentoring, youth-specific programs and networking and access to programs suitable for the stage of business and age of founder.
