Aqua Ubique

Company Biography

Over 2 million Australians lack reliable access to safe drinking water, and this issue is not limited to remote locations. Cherbourg, less than a three-hour drive from Brisbane, is one such community.

Aqua Ubique is a veteran-founded social enterprise addressing this problem by replacing traditional 15L office watercoolers with machines that generate water from air.

Our Work

These systems remove the need for bottled water, reducing plastic waste, delivery requirements, and on-site storage while providing a consistent source of premium drinking water.

The innovation operates on two levels. First, bottled water is replaced entirely by producing water on-site. Second, through the Drop4Drop model, every five revenue units deployed directly fund one impact unit in a community without reliable access to safe drinking water.

All units are installed, maintained, and operated under the same service model, ensuring long-term functionality across both commercial and community deployments.

Since May 2024, the fleet has generated over 134,000 litres of drinking water. A total of 38 revenue units now support 7 impact units deployed across schools, day care, aged care and community facilities in Cherbourg, supporting over 210 people and providing safe drinking water to the most vulnerable
