Since 2020, ASA has created big data careers for over 220 young neurodivergent adults in geospatial and digital engineering, including autistic Australians facing a 34% unemployment rate.

ASA's CEO, Geoff Smith, is the 2025 Queensland Australian of the Year. ASA has won multiple awards, including a World Sustainability Award for Social Impact, and is one of the Australian Financial Review's Most Innovative Companies.

Through tailored on-the-job professional and personal training, ASA empowers its 80% neurodivergent workforce to develop their skills and confidence, eventually transitioning them into sustainable and fulfilling careers within ASA or partner organisations. ASA then backfills this position with someone else experiencing long-term unemployment.
