Queer Food is a trans-owned social enterprise that creates food products celebrating LGBTQIA+ stories, history and culture. Founded by Andy de Groot, Queer Food uses food as a platform for visibility, pride and connection while creating opportunities for LGBTQIA+ communities.

Our Work
Queer Food produces a range of pantry staples, teas, snacks, gift bundles and merchandise sold online, through retailers and at community markets. Products are inspired by LGBTQIA+ history and developed in collaboration with community members, icons and organisations. Revenue supports an Impact Fund that provides micro-grants for gender-affirming care, and the enterprise also creates employment and paid opportunities for LGBTQIA+ people.
