Spouse Force is a veteran-owned technical writing company. Our team consists of highly educated, military spouses from across Australia who provide all types of technical writing. Much of our work is done remotely. This provides the opportunity for the military spouses to retain their job regardless of being regularly posted to a new location with their ADF spouse/partner. Ongoing employment for the spouse contributes to better retention of ADF members (a key government initiative) and family stability - both financial and emotional.
We are not a charity. Defence/veteran spouses tell us they do not want special treatment or charity – just the understanding that they are required to regularly change their location in support of their partner’s service to Australia. With most spouses being female (though we don’t discriminate), we are creating new jobs for Australian women.
The types of technical writing we do includes policies and procedures (including to meet standards such as the ACNC - the national regulator for charities), government recruitment selection reports (scribing), IT documentation, Strategic Plans, Risk Management Plans, Reconciliation Action Plans, and training documentation for Defence Primes/Partners.
