Spouse Force
Spouse Force is a Qld-based Australian small business (SME), veteran co-owned, female-led, and a certified social enterprise. We are committed to providing fully remote opportunities for military spouses - all of whom face significant employment and career disadvantage due to frequent relocations with their serving partners.
Military spouses bring a lot to the table with 40% holding university degrees, which is higher than the 30% average across the working-age population. Yet, they face significant employment challenges - 22% are unemployed and 63% are under-employed. This not only impacts their financial stability but also adds a heavy emotional load on the whole family.

Our Work
Research has shown that high unemployment and under-employment among spouses can lead to serving members considering whether to stay in or leave the Australian Defence Force (ADF), directly impacting retention and operational capability. The 2025 Final Report of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide found that financial stability is a protective factor against suicide and published several recommendations to address this, including 'facilitating employment opportunities for partners of Defence members as well as opportunities for remote working". Spouse Force is one of very few organisations who are actively trying to address this need.
We provided trusted services to Federal, State and Local Government; meeting all governance, procurement and compliance requirements and delivering high quality, value for money and timely Australian-based admin services.
