The Future Care Project
The Future Care Project is more than an initiative - it’s a movement. Born on the NSW/QLD border in the regional town of Goondiwindi, we are a grassroots organisation driving real change. Our mission is to build a collective powerbank of resources and an inspiring community where families, educators, employers and advocates can come together to find practical solutions and meaningful support in the fight for high-quality, accessible early childhood education and care for all of regional Australia.

Our Work
The Future Care Project develops flexible and sustainable childcare models in regional Australia, supporting local women and community members to start or grow in-home and small-scale childcare businesses. It also builds educator workforce capacity through training and mentoring, supports community-run not-for-profits, and advocates nationally for childcare policy reform.
