Our core purpose sits on seven Sustainable Development Goals: 1 No Poverty · 4 Quality Education · 10 Reduced Inequalities · 12 Responsible Consumption and Production · 14 Life Below Water · 15 Life on Land · 17 Partnerships for the Goals. Walter Stahel’s rule for the circular economy is that the smaller the loop, the more profitable and the more resource-efficient it is.
We build waste-to-energy microfactories and deploy them through a co-operative. The technology is Australian, from a major university. Our work is to help industry waste on the Ministers Priority List to achieve product stewardship certification, we work with multiple universities to make sure our ESG data is valid enough to support it.
We have developed a co-operative that changes the economic framework. The community owns the microfactory and decides where the surplus goes. The environmental side runs through our Blue Carbon project, and through cutting waste costs for councils.

Eco Cleaning Services — trading now
Commercial, site and home care cleaning across Far North Queensland. We built it so women coming out of domestic violence, and women leaving prison, can get back to work in a crew that feels safe. Every product we use is eco-friendly and microplastic-free, which keeps microplastics out of the waterways that run to the reef. As a certified social enterprise, every hour we invoice counts toward a buyer’s social procurement targets.
The microfactory network — in development
Containerised microwave-assisted pyrolysis units, licensed from a major Australian university, sized to be approvable in a regional shire and sited at municipal transfer stations. They process end-of-life tyres and mattresses where those things arise, instead of freighting them south. Both sit on the Federal Environment Minister’s product stewardship priority list. A research programme with university collaborators runs from November 2026; we make no performance claims ahead of it.
The NQ Regional Microfactory Co-operative — who owns it
Registered under Co-operatives National Law (Queensland). The Co-operative owns the units and holds the authority to operate them. One person, one membership, one share — no stacking shares for influence. Business sponsorship funds memberships for people the system has failed, allocated by independent referral networks so sponsors never choose recipients. It is ownership and a vote, not a handout.
STEEM education and pathways
STEEM — Science, Technology, Engineering, Environmental Science and Maths — delivered with Circular Economy FNQ from Year 7. We run it where people already are: libraries, pubs, CWA halls, and venues hosted by the tourism sector. Completing an education pathway is one of the ways a member retains their Co-operative membership, so the programme is not an add-on to the model; it is part of how the model holds together.
Students build a working microscope for about $105, where the commercial version costs over $100,000, and use it to study what lives in the top millimetre of the ocean. The pathway runs through a microcredential (in development) and a field camp to the Term 3 Blue Carbon Student Challenge. An "Earn to Learn" model means cost is not the barrier it usually is.
