Impact Revenue Investments support Queensland social enterprises to scale impact.

Fourteen Queensland social enterprises have been approved for Impact Revenue Investments of up to $200,000.  This investment in effect is strengthening the state’s social enterprise sector and supporting long-term, sustainable growth.

The significant investments form part of the Crisafulli Government’s commitment to invest $20 million each year to empower Queensland’s for-purpose and social enterprise sector. Moreover, this initiative enables organisations to build stronger revenue models and increase their community impact.

Simultaneously, the announcement coincided with the launch of the Social Enterprise and Impact Investing Roadmap 2025, which outlines a course for long-term growth and aims to unlock the full potential of Queensland’s social enterprise sector.

“QSEC welcomes the investment in revenue resilience and capability building, which supports social enterprises to move beyond short-term funding pressures and focus on sustainable trading, innovation and impact at scale.”

The successful recipients represent the breadth and diversity of Queensland’s social enterprise ecosystem, delivering services across health, wellbeing, food security, employment and innovation. Funded organisations include those providing robot-powered physical rehabilitation technology, mental health support for blue-collar workers, low-cost grocery access, and First Peoples-led employment opportunities.

Successful organisations include:

  • Aqua Ubique (Sunshine Coast)

  • Bama Facilities Maintenance (Cairns)

  • Cleanable QLD (Brisbane)

  • Elevate Residential (Brisbane)
