The Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust Local Impact Grant supports grassroots charitable organisations delivering direct community benefit within the Brisbane City Council area, with a focus on addressing key social challenges and supporting vulnerable residents. The program provides up to $12,500 per grant each quarter to strengthen frontline service delivery and enable community-based initiatives that improve wellbeing and social outcomes.

What It Funds
The grant funds project-specific costs that directly support the delivery of community programs and initiatives, including materials, supplies, and essential project expenses aligned with the proposed activity. Funding must be clearly itemised and supported by quotes, and excludes capital infrastructure, wages, administration, rent, utilities, marketing, debt repayment, vouchers, overseas purchases, and other operational or indirect organisational costs.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be incorporated not-for-profit organisations with a charitable purpose and hold Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status endorsed by the ATO, be registered with appropriate regulatory bodies such as ACNC or ASIC, and deliver direct community benefit within the Brisbane City Council LGA.
Organisations must use funds in line with their constitution and DGR status, submit all required documentation, and have no outstanding acquittals or active funding for the same project.
